NUV Congratulates Student Peace Prize Winner

Feb 2009) Human rights activist from Western Sahara, Rabab Amidane, were announced today as the winner of the Students Peace Prize. - It is wonderful to see that Amidane that visited Norway for the first time through an invitation from the Young Liberals (NUV), has received this well deserved award for her work, says International Officer Naomi Ichihara Røkkum.

Liberal Party Advocates Legal File Sharing
(15. Apr 2007) The Liberal Party of Norway (Venstre) unanimously passed a resolution for a new and radical policy on culture, that amongst others legalises file sharing.

More than 40 arrested in Minsk!
(25. Mar 2007) Between 10 000 and 15 000 people demonstrated today Sunday 25. March in Minsk for democracy in Belarus. Sources which took part in the demonstrations say that at least 40 were arrested.
